Veterinary Surgeon
BVSc GPCert(FelP) MRCVS

Peter joined Ensbury Park Vets in February 2009, taking over from Miss Imke Gerhmann.

He graduated from Liverpool University in 2001 and has since worked in several small animal hospitals and clinics in the South.

His veterinary interests include orthopaedic surgery, endocrinology and feline medicine. He completed a Certificate in Feline Practice in 2008 and is looking at doing his acupuncture training in 2013.

Peter spends most of his spare time walking his dogs Harvard, Luna and Floyd. He is a qualified scuba diver and is encouraging Sam to start her PADI course so they can go diving together.

Sam joined Ensbury Park in February 2009 with Peter, She works mostly behind the scenes with administration work but still finds time to assist in theatre. Sam completed her Animal Nursing Assistant course back in 2006. In November 2011 she completed her fast track diploma in small animal Hydrotherapy and also works at Three Cross Vets as a small animal Hydrotherapist. Sam is now studying canine myotherapy (advance specialised massage techniques) and she hopes to complete her diploma in 2013.

Her spare time is mostly devoted to her dogs Luna, Harvard and Floyd.

Sam also has three cats Chicken, Chi and Lily who tend to rule the house!

Rosie completed a degree in Veterinary Nursing and practice administration at Bristol University in 2007. She spent the next few years working in a small animal practice and hospital in the Dorset area and further afield when she locumed. During that time she took 4 months out to do some travelling in South America and Australia.

Since joining the practice in May 2010 she has enjoyed helping to set up and run the nurse clinics in particular the weight watcher and puppy / kitten clinics.

Outside of work Rosie enjoy making jewellery, walking, yoga and have recently taken up inline skating.

Rosie is also a fosterer for Cat Protection which involves caring for and rehoming cats for and rehoming cats from her home. It was through Cat Protection that she adopted her own cat Brad who had been found as a stray.


Samantha Gibson

Veterinary Nurse
FdSc RVN

Samantha has been working as a veterinary nurse for the last four years and completed a degree in veterinary science at Sparsholt College in Winchester.

She qualified and joined Ensbury Park in October 2011. Sam enjoys all areas of nursing but in particular nurse clinics such as puppy and kitten clinics and weight management clinics. Previously she has worked in several small animal clinics in Hampshire.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with friends and family, and has a Jack Russell Cross named Marley and a black and white cat called Socks.


Sarah Critchley

Sarah joined the practice in early March 2012 as a veterinary nurse assistant. She has studied a BTEC national diploma in animal management level 3 at Bournemouth collage in 2007-2009. Sarah is currently studying towards a diploma as a Veterinary Care Assistant. Before joining Ensbury Park Sarah had worked at a couple of different vets around Bournemouth and Poole At work her interests are Surgery and interacting with clients and their animals. Outside of work Sarah enjoys making cards for all occasions, photography and traveling.

At home she has a German Sheppard called Bowdie, Jack Russell x westie called Pixie, Jack Russell x dachshund called poppy and her cat called Midnight.
